Rebecca Cheers is a writer from Brisbane, Australia.

She has written poetry, plays, essays and zines. She teaches creative writing and communications at the Queensland University of Technology, where she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Creative and Professional Writing) and a Masters of Philosophy. She was a founding editor of Brisbane-based zine Woolf Pack.

Rebecca was shortlisted for the Queensland Premier’s Young Writers and Publishers award in 2021 and 2022.

Her debut poetry collection, No Camelias, is out now with Rabbit Poetry Series.
